Seafood · Oman and the Atlantic
Omani seafood

Our supply partner
Who we source from
Our seafood comes from a 100% Omani-owned fishing and processing group. It runs its own vessel in Omani waters, fitted with refrigerated seawater (RSW) tanks to keep the catch fresh, and an offshore vessel that processes and stores fish at sea. It also has cold-chain partners in several countries.
Fishing in Oman is seasonal, so the group also sources fish directly from Morocco and Mauritania, and from other origins when needed. If one origin has a poor season, supply can come from another.

How supply works
Standard terms
- Minimum order
- One full container (FCL) per product and origin. Bigger volumes can be agreed, depending on availability.
- Pricing
- FOB or CFR, whichever suits you. CFR prices include sea freight to your port.
- When the price is fixed
- Prices change during the season with the catch, fish sizes, demand and freight rates. Your price is fixed once you confirm the order.
- Loading port
- Depends on where the fish comes from, and is named in every offer.
- Before you order
- You get photos, video, the full specification and packing details. Orders are full commercial shipments, so samples aren't sent.
- Payment
- Usually 30% when you confirm the order, and 70% once the shipping documents are ready and you have copies. The original documents and the bill of lading are released when the balance is paid.
- Availability
- Weather, sea conditions, fish movement and the season all affect supply. Because the group works several origins, it can usually cover a gap from another source.
